Does TNG host virtual Networking Meetings?
Almost all TNG Events, which include Champagne Events and Member's Only Meetings, are virtual meetings.  TNG may host a number of "LIVE" Networking meetings each year to provide added value and additional Networking opportunities for all Members and attendees in our Community.

If you are interested in learning more about a TNG virtual networking event in your area, contact us at [email protected]

Can I just register for a TNG event?
If you’re already a part of the TNG Community (attended an event, regular attendee, or a Member), then you may register for a Champagne Event through the registration link for each event. Otherwise, you must be Suggested (rather than invited) through the TNG community. If you have never attended a TNG event and are interested in potentially attending, please contact us to discuss.

What is a “vetted” networking community?
A phrase we use often is “vetted before invitation”. Vetting means that you have “qualified” to attend one of our events after review. We know the TNG culture is part of what makes our Community special as we continue to make our events more valuable to those who attend. (See below for more information about the vetting process.)

What does the vetting process look like?
Our vetting process is made up of a series of questions asked to the person submitting the Suggested Guest. Questions relate to current profession, experience within that profession, networking abilities, Community involvement, and personality type.

What is the best way to invite a guest?
You can never simply invite a guest. In fact, you can only suggest a guest if you have attended a TNG Champagne Event. Our process is simple. If you’ve attended a TNG Champagne Event, you will receive our regular email communication. Once you receive a TNG message, find the Suggest a Guest link and answer the questions related to your Suggested Guest. If accepted, the Suggested Guest (now an Approved Guest) will receive an email invitation, copying the Inviter, to the upcoming event.

THIS IS IMPORTANT!
It’s important for the inviter to always discuss the prospect of participating in a Champagne Event before suggesting them as a guest. If the potential guest is "a fit" and excited about learning more and participating, suggest them as a guest!  If your potential guest is not excited about participating in an upcoming TNG event, they may, in fact, not be "a fit" and therefore there is no need to suggest them as a guest.  TNG is not for everyone and it's important to maintain the high standards that are TNG.

How do I know if my profession is "a fit”?
A profession is "a fit” if there is not an abundance of that profession already represented in an upcoming event or within the TNG Membership. We allow up to FIVE registered attendees in an Exact Profession (some professions vary – different types of financial advisors, coaches, etc.) to attend our evening event (Champagne Event) and up to TWO of the Exact Profession (or up to 10% Membership) to be a TNG Member in a given TNG Community. (TWO financial advisors as TNG Members in NYC Group, TWO financial advisors as TNG Members in Philadelphia Group, etc.). To determine if your profession is "a fit", feel free to contact us at [email protected].

What is the policy on refunds and applying a paid ticket to a future event?
As noted on our TNG invitations, all paid registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events. A lot of planning goes into our meetings and most of that planning directly relates to the registered attendees.

How do I apply for Membership?
Only those who have attended a Champagne Event (i.e., Past Attendees) can be considered for TNG Membership.

It is suggested that you register for a TNG Member's Only Meeting (MOM) as a guest before submitting an application.

If you are interested in applying for Membership, you must submit a Membership Application for review by the Membership Team.

If you have attended a TNG Champagne Event and you are interested in becoming a Member, the first step is to register for a TNG Members Only Meeting (MOM) as a guest. For more information, please contact us at [email protected].

What is the attire for a TNG event?
Use your best judgment when participating in a Virtual TNG Event.  Appearing neat, professional, and engaged is key.  Business attire is always expected when attending a LIVE Champagne Event, Members Only Meeting, training event, or holiday party. Our summer outings might be the exception. Please use common sense and dress as professionally as you might for an important sales meeting with a prospect or when making a presentation to investors or a key referral partner.

How do I get the most value from TNG?
Attend our events often, suggest lots of high-powered guests, dress professionally, look to learn, help, and give, be a connector, and have fun
